Internet over HAM radio ? Internet access over ham radio network

I was inquisitive if HAM radio can be used to extend internet connectivity for personal use to far of areas where internet is not reachable... Ham radio is an excellent tool to connect to remote areas or to any sort of places around the globle.... With that, can we forward internet access through HAM radio links just for personal use?

I speculated this issue and did a basic research over internet and found that HAM radio can not be used for commerical purposes.... But then this will be for personal use and no commercial selling or anything... I'm infact new to ham radio as well... Will discuss this with several ham radio operators in our area and let's see where we end up.....
